Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions, ensuring they align with company goals and industry best practices.
  • Mentor junior software engineers, providing guidance in code reviews, design discussions, and problem-solving approaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to define and deliver new features and enhancements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in software quality and maintainability through code refactoring, optimization, and adoption of new technologies or methodologies.
  • Take a proactive role in identifying and resolving technical debt and performance bottlenecks in existing systems.
Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a demonstrated track record in developing scalable and robust applications.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks relevant to the company's technology stack.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and a strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
Preferred skills
  • Advanced knowledge in specific technical areas such as cloud services, microservices architecture, or data engineering.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in a technical environment, with experience in leading project teams or technical initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Contributions to open source projects, technical publications, or speaking engagements in the software engineering community.
